The Top Fall Fashion Trends You Need To Know About

When it comes to fall style, there aren’t off-limits trends. We all have our personal style and our comfort zone. However, this fall we should all go a little further and take some fashion risks! Trust me, it’s worth it.

During the fall runways, tons of metallic pieces, over-sized jackets, florals, velvet, and suits were presented. So many trends, so many propositions. Sometimes is difficult to know how to wear velvet jackets or how to incorporate menswear, AKA suits, into our lives.

This outfit is inspired in most of these trends. The protagonists here are the florals and the velvet jacket. Velvet is about elegance and comfort. Slim-fit velvet jackets are my favorite. However, you can wear this fabric in everything! Pants, skirts, shoes. The sky is the limit. Just remember to wear just one velvet piece per look. Otherwise, it would be too much.

To complement the jacket, I decided to wear a turtleneck basic in a cream tone. It’s neutral and gives the outfit a splendid touch. What I love the most about turtlenecks is that I can wear them with chokers or necklaces to enhance the neckline. A little tip: chokers and necklaces will make you look slimmer and taller. If you are not sure to go with a turtleneck, you can easily wear another basic.
The skirt is all about florals in navy blue and beige, which makes a great contrast with the top of the outfit. This fall, there are tons of layers and volume, and this skirt encompasses all! When wearing florals, make sure to avoid overwhelming pieces and complement the fabric with basics or neutrals.
Both florals and velvet have their own strength, and it’s important to keep it simple. Like I’ve said before, sometimes less is more.
And of course, the leather boots could not be missed. These boots make the outfit complete giving it that final fall touch.
What do you think? Would you take the risk and incorporate these fall trends?
